Anirudh Ravichander

A music prodigy, and celebrated composer of the South, Anirudh Ravichander rose to prominence with his debut song ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ for the Tamil film ‘3’. The song became an instant global rage and garnered more than 85 million views on YouTube. Since then there has been no looking back for this superstar composer. Anirudh has composed more than two dozen Tamil films including ‘Kaththi’, ‘Petta’, and ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’.

Anirudh’s musical journey began at a very young age. He has learned both classical piano and Carnatic music besides performing at concerts as a part of the boyband ‘Zinx’.

Not just a super composer in the South film industry, Anirudh made his mark in Bollywood, with an award-winning composition in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’.

He has won two Filmfare Awards South, nine SIIMA Awards, six Edison Awards, and five Vijay Awards for his contribution to the music industry.

With a career spanning more than a decade, Anirudh has become one of the most sought-after Indian music composers and performers.
